Gorosaurus

A prehistoric dinosaur who survived extinction, Goroaurus is a cousin to the Allosaurus, another large dinosaur. Gorosaurus has been living on Mondo Island until he was captured and placed on Monster Island with many other monsters.

Gorosaurus was discovered by Lt. Susan Watson on Mondo Island. Before the dinosaur could eat Lt. Watson, it was supposedly killed by King Kong.

Goroaurus showed up later in Paris in the film Destroy All Monsters. Since Gorosaurus has grown to nearly match Godzilla in size, he took an active roll in the ending battle against King Ghidorah at Mt. Fuji. With the lack of energy weapons, Gorosaurus relies on his teeth, claws, and the agility in battle. Gorosaurus especially uses his spectacular kangaroo kick, where he rears back on his tail and attacks with both feet. Such a powerful force of the hit Gorosaurus even managed to knock King Ghidorah to the ground using this approach.
