Kamacuras

(a.k.a. Gimantis)

Three giant insects mutated by radiation battled Godzilla. Godzilla was trying to save an egg. Only one survived the battle and is now on one of the islands of Monster Land.

Deep in moist jungles of Sollgel Island, a group of Kamacuras live, two-meter-tall insects without antennae resembling overgrown praying mantises. The United Nations experiment to control the weather on Sollgel accidentally drenched the island with radioactive rain storm, causing three of the Kamacuras to grow to the height of Godzilla. Trying to eat the just hatched Minya (who you will later see), the giant insects were quickly routed by Godzilla. One was later defeated by Kumunga (who you will also later see), but one of the Kamacuras was seen peacefully living among the other monsters in Monster Land.
